The New York University 8-Track Discography 10th Anniversary Edition is a compilation released by underground rapper mc chris and his band at the time The Lee Majors. It was released in 2007. The cover features a cartoon parody of the cover of grunge band Nirvana's album, Nevermind. This CD is a collection of old tracks recorded with pop-punk band The Lee Majors before he gained a following. MC has admitted that most of these tracks were just done jokingly and fun, and that he was drunk during most of the recording sessions. As it is a side project of him and another group, it is taken out of the numeric listing for mc's other albums.
According to mc's PureVolume site, "The Shit That Reeks" is said to be the first mc chris song ever recorded. This collection also contains an early version of "DQ Blizzard", which only has the chorus in common with the released version on Life's a Bitch and I'm Her Pimp. The first verse in this version of the song, however, contains lyrics that would be later used on the track "mynameis", from the album Eating's Not Cheating.
